ALR EVENTS
Fundraising activities to be announced.
Every two weeks we have "social" rides to a location for breakfast (warmer months) or lunch (cooler months).

Post 66 has a Riders Chapter. We are governed by a constitution/by-laws. Meetings are on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM (no meetings in June, July or August). Usually, a pre-meeting or post-meeting social ride will occur depending on the weather.
We have a healthy and growing membership. If you belong to the Legion family (member, Auxiliary or SAL), have a motorcycle in your household, and would like to support Legion functions through your love of motorcycles, then WE WANT YOU!! Fill out the application with your $20.These forms can be found at the Post 66 office as we want YOU to join also! Any questions concerning membership contact Steve Solari (480-438-0981).
The ALR National Convention news recently reaffirmed that Legion members can only belong to one post but can belong to more than one ALR! They also stated that a person cannot wear the ALR patch if they are not ALR members in good standing. Unauthorized selling, making or wearing ALR patches has resulted in lawsuits.
Patches can be ordered at the monthly meeting or in the front office.
As an ALR chapter, we need to send in a report each May 1 to AZ ALR on time spent doing Legion/ALR activities. Each member should write hours spent on their own calendar so they can give this information to the ALR secretary for the annual report. Thanks!
Since becoming an ALR Chapter, many rides/activities have been distributed to us for our veteran's benefit and support. We plan to pubish this info with a monthly e-mail distribution (we need YOUR e-mail). These e-mails will give a brief schedule of short notice support rides that include Patriot Guard mission, Missing in America projects (burial of vets with no family), honor flight missions, etc.
Info will also be included in the Alert newsletter and we will post information on rides/activities/etc on the ALR 66 bulletin board which is by the library door. In summary, this site, the e-mail distribution list, our bulletin board and Post flyers will give you the information you need.
We are the official "Soiled Flag Disposal Team." If you have flags that are no longer serviceable, place them in the wooden bin just outside the Legion Office.
